Crooked Creek Donations

Crooked Creek in Vinemont, AL, is the site of a skirmish fought between Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest and Union Colonel Abel Streight on April 30, 1863 as part of Streight’s Raid. Many soldiers on both sides still haunt the property today. You might even hear gunshots, cannon fire and a rebel yell.
