All Aboard!!

The Horridge House & Vinton Train Depot

All aboard!!!  Join the Riverside Iowa Paranormal team at 2 locations that are quickly becoming paranormal hot spots in Iowa.  The Horridge House and the Vinton Train Depot.

The Horridge House

The home was built in 1859 by Dr. Hewett B. Clingan. An exact duplicate was built across the street by Dr. William S. Boyd.   The original brass lion head door knocker is still attached to the front door.  There is also a Romanesque sculptural relief, which was brought back from Italy by Carrie Horridge (George’s second wife) and in the parlor is a beautiful French pier mirror also brought to the house by Carrie Horridge.

Our contact at this location stated, "We have had multiple teams tell us that the Horridge House has one of the most intelligent hauntings they have ever come across. We have had someone see their first full bodied apparition at the Horridge House as well, of a little boy."

The Vinton Train Depot

Depot construction was started on August 1, 1899 and is considered one of the finest preserved passenger stations in Eastern Iowa.  The depot no longer sees the bustle of passengers, the mail being snared or cargo being loaded and unloaded. It now stands quietly, reminiscing of those days and being preserved as another "Historical Point of Interest in Benton County".

Join us for this amazing event and find out the secrets these two amazing locations hold.
