P.A.R.A.NORMAL (Palmerton Area Research Alliance) and Third Eye Event Productions invite you to investigate a unique timepiece still standing tall in wild Pennsylvania. The Green County Museum, once a poor farm, will not disappoint as it is forever occupied by its very unfortunate residents from centuries gone. The team will provide you with a unique experience showcasing the most high-tech tools used by paranormal researchers today. You will also be an integral part of paranormal experiments implemented by the team to ramp up the activity. This tour is not for the faint of heart as you will experience paranormal activity. If you are frightened of that which you do not understand this event is not for you. However, if you dare to question science and spirituality, we invite you to join us on an unforgettable adventure like none you will ever experience!

Below is a synopsis of the history of the farm taken from the museum's website @ https://greenecountyhistory.org/paranormal/

The Greene County Historical Society is located at the site of the Former Greene County Home. Opening in 1862, and operating for over a century, our building was the site of many tragic occurrences and as many of our Staff and Volunteers will attest plays host to a wide range of paranormal activity.

Though our facility was designed to house those who were poor and destitute, in practice it became an asylum very much like many of the State Hospitals in the Region, but on a smaller scale. The early years of our building's history proved to be, at times, very violent. Inmates were chained to walls in the basement and overcrowding was commonplace, leading to local and national criticism of the horrific living conditions.

Many of our Staff and Guests report unexplained footsteps, sounds, smells and many have even witnessed full bodied apparitions. Many of the troubled souls who once lived at the Former County Home still walk the halls and make their presence known.
