Join Scott, Julie, and the Paranormal Project Radio Show team as we venture into the haunted hilltop of southern New Hampshire and face what Hans Holzer called “an ancient evil.”

Our evening begins in the “safe space” - the Visitor Center of America’s Stonehenge.  We will watch an eleven-minute film introducing the site and following we will discuss the equipment we will use to investigate the hilltop.

Next, we will create three teams with whom to investigate.  All experience levels are welcome.   This is your investigation and we will be there to assist when necessary and ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable evening.  We will hit all the hot spots and you will have an opportunity to investigate with different investigators utilizing different types of equipment.

At 10 pm, we will meet and discuss our findings, review evidence, and compare notes.  Then, if you wish, you’ll have the opportunity to be featured on The Paranormal Project Radio Show!  We will be recording (voice only) your personal experiences at America’s Stonehenge!  The evidence and feedback will be featured on a future episode of the radio show with the owner, Dennis Stone!

What Is America’s Stonehenge?

Built by a Native American Culture or a migrant European population? No one knows for sure. A maze of man-made chambers, walls and ceremonial meeting places, at over 4,000 years old America's Stonehenge is most likely the oldest man-made construction in the United States.

Like Stonehenge in England, America's Stonehenge was built by ancient people well versed in astronomy and stone construction. It has been determined that the site is an accurate astronomical calendar. It was, and still can be, used to determine specific solar and lunar events of the year.

Various inscríptions have been found throughout the site including Ogham, Phoenician and Iberian Punic Scrípt. Dr. Barry Fell of Harvard University did extensive work on the inscríptions found at the site. They are detailed in his book America B.C.

Journey Into Mystery

The site was originally featured on In Search of... the classic 1970s TV show hosted by Leonard Nimoy and devoted to unsolved mysteries and strange phenomena. One episode focused on Mystery Hill — a site of uncanny stone rings and structures whose very existence suggested to some minds the pre-Columbian presence of civilizations with advanced knowledge of architecture and astronomy, perhaps even a taste for blood sacrifice.

The episode featured commentary by Hans Holzer, parapsychologist and expert on phantoms and poltergeists. Apparently, Holzer also studied archaeology and ancient languages. Who knew? He confidently declared that markings on a stone at Mystery Hill — which looked an awful lot like scrapes from a farmer's plow, but never mind — were evidence of ancient Phoenicians in New Hampshire, centuries before the first European colonists.

The Holzer Files

On Season 2 Episode 10 of the Holzer Files, Dave Scrader, Cindy Kaza, Jeffrey Trzepkowski and Alexandra Holzer (daughter of Hans Holzer) returned to the hill and retraced Hans Holzer’s footsteps!

Join us on October 15 and you can do the same!
